, kron 4 news. a concord deli re- opened for business this morning following a noro-virus outbreak. that sickened 45 people. new tonight at eight. kron 4's reggie kumar tells us what the restaurant owner thinks happened. for the past few weeks, they can transmit the virus. they say that they passed the last health inspection with no problem. drivers along san francisco's central freeway, and parts of interstate 80, have been left confused by missing lane divider lines. the markers were removed by cal-trans crews working on the roadways. new tonight at eight. kron 4's charles clifford explains why. and when they may return. this is video i shot while merging onto southbound interstate 80 from 7th street in san francisco thursday afternoon. notice anything missing? the lane lines are gone. there's no white lines or reflective markers seperating the lanes or marking the shoulders. there is a vague outline of where those things used to be, but it's hard to see. what happened to the lines? well, earlier this month caltrans started resurface the roadway along this portion of interstate

. you will wake up in the 30's again for napa, concord and livermore starting in february. that's tomorrow. here is the setup. there is a lot of tropical moisture out there, lots of potential for rainfall. but that potential will never make it here to the bay area for the next several days, because all this moisture is hitting a wall. that wall is acting like a good offensive lineman and blocking all of that moisture and keeping it away from us. we call them domes of high pressure. some of them can be a couple hundred miles big, some a thousand. this one not only is large and strong but stubborn. it's not going to move. as long as it stays close to us, it will literally protect us from these storms, keeping us mainly dry all the way till next thursday. it will allow some of that moisture to make it down here. the next several days will be mild with clear nights, sunny days and yes, there is a little bit of shower activity late next week. but we're talking about not until one week from today. highs tomorrow, well into the 60's. en

sun as you head away from the coast. 43 in concord right now. it's 44 in fremont with upper 40s san francisco. 50 half moon bay. good morning watsonville, 48 for you. plenty of clouds down here much of the day and highs were just in the mid-50s. some of the coolest locations from the central coast to the peninsula and south bay yesterday. so mostly cloudy this morning. we will look for more sunshine in the afternoon away from the shoreline. and cooler weather. that's really the big headline for the week ahead. not so much the rain that may visit us thursday into friday, but the much, much cooler air with high temperatures well below the average. in fact, snow levels down to 2500 feet. when we see this area of low pressure head our way next thursday. that could bring some showers and a few areas of light snow on top of mount hamilton. we are looking at the dangerous waves continuing right on to 10:00 from the sonoma county coast all the way down to monterey. really be advised that it is still very dangerous out there. and by this afternoon those waves will begin to subside. here's a
